Gave this to my husband for his bday. He was opening cards in front of our families and I made sure to write "not kid appropriate" so he tried to hide it. My teenage niece got a peek, starts laughing and yells "inappropriate" so of course everyone else was asking what it was and got a kick out of it.

My husband loved it and laughed so hard also we were both laughing actually 🤣🤣

Color clarity

The card is cute. It was packaged fairly well, but as my 3rd picture shows, it was slightly dirty on the inside. I think it was the black part of the lampshade that rubbed off on the paper, but not sure. It wasn't so bad that I couldn't use, just also not 5 star worthy. I think most will love the card, so don't let it keep you from buying... just realize it won't be perfect. Might be a little more expensive than I would pay next time.

This card came ripped on two separate orders. The octopus would not pop up because the attachment to the card was ripped. Poor design.

The product came as advertised. It was really cute got it for my bf and he of course showed it off. Would buy another one again for our anniversary.

My wife loved this card, it came un bent and the light had a protective card stock supporting it. Completely satisfied with this purchase.

I love this card so much! It's a little pricey but it is still along the same prices as cards of similar make. My card came in broken though. One of the leg tabs was torn so it wouldn't fully expand. I fixed it with some clear tape.

I had to return this, the Octopus was torn and could not be fixed to pop up - very disappointed.

It would've been perfect if the pop up part hadn't come ripped and detached from the card. No time to get a replacement so I just taped it, but it could've been better.

Original delivery date changed after purchase so it was late and then it shows up ripped inside the card so it didn't even 'pop up'.

So disappointing that the octopus was ripped and couldn’t stand up as shown.

The card arrived in intact packaging, but when I went to open it the octopus fell right out! I wish I had read the other comments first.

It came damaged in the mail, the octopus was not even attached to the card to be able to pop up.

So arrive two days before Valentines day and I was so excited, the outside of of card is on the thicker side but the very delicate octopus in the middle was ripped so it wouldn't stand. So it was completely useless. Shipping box was okay so it told me they packaged it up like this. Maybe I'm unlucky, maybe the universe is trying to tell me something, maybe the quality assurance department sucks at their job. Who knows, you decide. Either way I've got to drive down to ups now...

Great card that got laughs. However, it arrived with one piece disconnected, twisted, and folded the wrong way and part of the base torn off. It was an easy fix for me but I work with small things. It may not have been an easy for people who aren’t good with little delicate things.

The octopus was dead on arrival . Very sad what a waste of money opened the card and it was ripped off .

Terrible quality. I have to attempt to repair this card i needed for today. Other reviews show this seems to be a regular problem. Id never order these again.

I ordered this card (despite other reviews saying the pop up octopus was broken) and the card arrived with the octopus torn out of the center. I then processed an exchange and the second arrived the exact same way.Do not recommend.

Cute card, my wife loved it, but lost some of the allure as it was ripped upon arrival. The octopus wouldn't stand up on it'd own. Unfortunately you wouldn't know it until you opened the card.

Already broken didn’t even pop up once. Literally trash.

I ordered this and it first arrived with half of the octopus ripped (so it didn’t pop up when opened). I opted for a replacement and it was ripped on both sides! Also, for the replacement/return they require you to ship back the ripped card, which is a huge waste of time and money. Very disappointed and won’t be purchasing again.

Super cute card, but mine came with one tab torn so the octopus didn’t open. I was able to fix this with some tweezers and tape and Gorilla glue, but shouldn’t be necessary for this price. The package and envelope were in perfect shape, so the card was sent already broken.

First item came torn and so did the second one, so it is not worth the price for the Pop-Up feature

i ordered this once and the pop up was torn from the card so it didn't work, i ordered another one and it came the same way, this is very poor quality control from the shop.

I had a moment this year when I reconciled with my ex - I was REALLY TRYING to make it work (him not so much!). We hadn't spoken in five years and I was really hoping that it would be different this time. Note To Others: IT WONT BE DIFFERENT. IT WILL ONLY BE WORSE!After watching My Octopus Teacher, I was really taken by octopuses, and swore off eating them forever, despite the fact that I really found them delicious. I started watching all these octopus videos on youtube, learning about their intelligence, contemplating sentience and how it can exist in different forms, wondering about how they experience existence... i'm an animal lover but this really affected me and shifted my paradigm of how i think of other living things.So my ex and i were together one day and we were talking about food, and seafood came up and he immediately spouted out, "I would never eat an octopus, they are smarter than us!" I had this moment of OMG YES ITS REALLY MEANT TO BE, I THINK THIS TOO!!!!!! I was so happy that he had independently come to this conclusion himself in the five years we had been apart, and took it as a SIGN!Unfortunately, it wasn't a sign. It was literally the only highlight of our dialogue during our reconnection, and the rest of it was him just being even worse than he was in the past - controlling, critical, and abusive.So I still have this card in my nightstand. Its really very cute! I will keep it there forever to remind me to NOT GO THERE AGAIN.

This card came upside down. The front of the card was fine and then when you open it the words inside are upside down. For the price I wasn’t expecting this. I can’t exchange it because I need to send it to my boyfriend who is deployed and I don’t have time to wait for a new one to get delivered. I’m disappointed.

This card looks exactly like it should. Everything is crisply cut and the pop up opens and moves smoothly. I opened and closed it several times and it never got stuck or caught or any rips or messy clue or anything. Great color. It’s very funny. I would buy from this company and recommend it for use. They’re incredibly expensive for a greeting card so I’m not sure I’d buy them for $13 a card but it’s a very nice card.Please hit the button if this info was helpful.

I normally don’t write reviews, complain, or email companies. With that being said; I was really excited for this card to come in for Valentine’s Day for my wife. Unfortunately when I opened it, the seam was already torn so it wouldn’t pop up. If it hadn’t been for that, the card itself is really good quality. I emailed the company and they immediately emailed me back to make it right and send me a replacement. I look forward to buying cards from them in the future.

We sent this card to a family member, and their whole household told us how much fun it was.

This is a neat little pop up greeting card. The pieces of paper are cut in such an intricate way that they create a cool, rather detailed look. I'm continually amazed at the math and precision cutting that goes into designing and making this type of greeting card. The colors are bright and the white is nice and crisp. The printing of the message is well done and the generality of the wording makes this appropriate for different occasions. I do feel the price of this pop-up greeting card is a bit steep, but that could be said about a lot of the greeting cards on the market these days.

This card is cute and useful for multiple occasions. I think it could be used for graduation, birthday, anniversary or thank you. I love that it has the pop up fire cutout in the middle, I just wish it was a buy bigger overall. Since the cutout doesn't take much space it leaves lots of room to write which I do like. The card is made of a thick paper so it's not flimsy. It's definitely great quality and well constructed.

This card is thick and sturdy and looks extremely well crafted. I’m very happy with it. The card was also clean and well protected when shipped which is important for such a delicate item. I like that the inside of the card is blank and has ample room for you to draw something or add a custom message. It has the potential to be easily customized, as the message is pretty open ended, or you can keep it simple and the message is simply “you are fire” but you can change it to “hot, smokin, smokin hot, and so on” Cards can be incredibly cheesy so I love that this one is open ended so I can customize it to something cute or funny/silly so the message actually feels authentic to our relationship, not like I just plucked some generic message off a shelf at the drugstore.

I thought this was a really cute card. It doesn't have anything written inside though, the front says "You Are" so I'm planning to write "a hunk-a hunk-a burning love" underneath the fire (my husband was born on Elvis' birthday). This is going to be his Valentine's Day card. I like how bright the colors on the fire are, and I like how straight and tall it stands up as without any need to adjust it to make it look nicer/taller/straighter. It's a really cute card. I'm giving it 4 stars because I feel like there should be something written on the inside and there's not. But other than that, it's a very nice card to give to a loved one.

The card is really cute. I love all the PopLife cards that I have purchased and received. Much nicer than cards you buy at the store. I find men seem to really enjoy them and like to study how they were put together.

This is a unique design idea for a card. It is kept so simple and communicates so directly. The front uses two simple words, and yet it leaves your sentiments totally open. Then when the card is opened, there are towering flames. Nothing else, enough said. This is such a great way to convey your feelings. If you were to say those words, face to face, to your special someone, most likely it would invoke a gracious thank you. This card says the same exact thing, and it will invoke emotions and much more. Cards do things that sometimes people cannot. This card is made from a heavy and top grade paper stock. The envelope as well. The print on the front is gold foil and stands out. The inner 3D pop up flames are so detailed and the pop up action is so well designed. A card is always a great way to communicate. This card does it so much better. This is a high quality card with great design, and the idea is fantastic. This is a high quality card that is a great value for its artistic design and fantastic craftsmanship. It gets 5 stars. I am sure it will get me a 5 star reaction.

I have a friend/ co-worker that will be leaving her position for a new journey in another state. This card will be given to her on her last day and will have all of our thoughts and feelings poured onto it. The care is great material and heavy-duty. This card will definitely show that although she will be missed, she will not be gone from our thoughts.
